The Atlantic and Pacific coasts usually have two high and two low tides a day (the Gulf of Mexico often has just one of each); the biggest ranges ("spring tides" and "king tides") come around new and full moon. A low tide can be below 0 because heights here are relative to mean sea level, not chart datum (MLLW) used in NOAA tide tables.
High tide combined with heavy rain, a nor'easter or a hurricane storm surge can flood low-lying coastal areas — check will it rain and the hurricane tracker.
Model data, not for navigation. For official predictions, refer to NOAA Tides & Currents (tidesandcurrents.noaa.gov).
